Having worked in IT for over 10 years and across many industries, in March of 2008 I commenced full time Web Development & Consulting under my own name. Did I have ideas of world domination? No, I just wanted to spend more time doing what I enjoyed and had a passion for.
Put simply, I love the web.
Working in the web environment is a great fit for me, it combines the creative side of my personality with the analytical.
A little about me
I'm 34; happily married with two wonderful daughters and a wonderful, patient wife.
Thoughout my teenage years, a career in IT was the last thing on my mind. I played golf from sunrise to sunset and had my mind set on becoming a professional golfer.... Yeah - ask me how that ended up some time!
At University I transferred from Computer Studies to Economics - go figure. But I still wound up in the IT industry, having nothing to do with economics other than nodding at the finance report on the news.
Aside from a short detour into film-making, I survived University and spent the next 5 years perfecting my skills as a Web Developer / Designer. I then moved into Business Analysis and finally Project Management. In 2008, after roughly 5 years of being an award winning Project Manager / Program Manager within Government, Advertising and then Media, I decided to take the plunge and move into full time consulting.
Contrary to popular belief, I have no bad habits, but If I did they certainly wouldn't involve lots of alcohol and Rugby Union.
